Toowoomba is the most important metropolis within the Darling Downs area, some 125 km (80 miles) west of Brisbane. It is nicknamed ‘The Garden City’ and is legendary for its annual Carnival of Flowers which is held every September. This brings many guests to the town.
At different instances, guests take pleasure in mountain biking and motocross championships, the very spectacular Cobb & Co Museum, tradition on the Empire Theatre which is the most important in regional Australia, many parks and gardens all through the town, and close by National Parks.
